A friend of Centennial Hills Orthodontics recently suggested a favorite treat that she enjoys. At first, it seemed like a sixk joke. But, further investigation showed this simple concoction is a hit with the whole family. It has no name, so we'll just call it the "Hanley" after the person who provided the idea. Just place the following in a bowl and enjoy!
-one scoop French Vanilla ice cream -a handful of Honey Nut Cheerios -milk

Looking for a different treat this Halloween? A simple suggestion from Centennial Hills Orthodontics: candy corns and peanuts. Really? Yes, really! Simply mix dry-roasted peanuts and candy corns for an easy, addicting snack that will have people coming back for more. The salt and sweet make for a winning combination. What they also make for is broken braces waiting to happen. As such, this suggestion is for your friends who aren't currently in orthodontic treatment.
*A suggestion that we received to make this idea even more colorful and tasty is to mix the peanuts and candy corns with the fall colored M&Ms. Dr. Whetten tried it using four types of M&Ms (plain, peanut, pretzel, and peanut butter). His conclusion: "THROW THEM ALL IN. You can't have too much of a good thing!"
